Ashley Campbell, PT DPT

Director of Rehab Services


Welcome to Salina Regional Health Center Rehabilitation. Our department takes the Salina Regional Health Center mission to heart as we work to “Improve the health of those who entrust us with their lives – the patients and communities we serve.”

We view our involvement with you as a partnership or a relationship, where we have a responsibility to keep you, the patient, at the center of all we do.

Denice Justus, DPT, Cert. DN

Clinic Manager

Meet Denice Justus, the outpatient PT Manager and native of Salina! Denice received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1998, Master of Physical Therapy degree from Wichita State University in 2001, and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana in 2021. Denice has been with SRHC for over 20 years and she specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction, but also treats a variety of orthopedic conditions and is certified in dry needling. Outside of SRHC, Denice loves being involved with the Greater Salina Community Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, spending time with her husband Robert, traveling to see their children and first grandchild, and playing with their dog Rolo.

Nicholas Johansen, DPT, CSCS

Physical Therapy Lead

Meet Nicholas Johansen, the PT Lead, who joined SRHC in 2016! Nick is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, who enjoys treating both younger and older athletes, as well as patients with vestibular dysfunction and those participating in post concussive rehabilitation. Nick began his education at Wichita State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2013, and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Wichita State University in May 2016. Nick also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Laura Sweeney, DPT, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Laura Sweeney, who joined SRHC in 2014! Laura received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Exercise Science in 2010 and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2014. She is a certified ASTYM provider and enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients including post-surgical rehabilitation and general orthopedics. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her twins and traveling.

Maggie Ginest, DPT, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Maggie Ginest, who joined SRHC in 2016! Maggie graduated from Bethany College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Wichita State University in 2016. She grew up just outside of the Lindsborg area. Maggie is a certified ASTYM provider and enjoys working with general orthopedic and sports related injuries. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and keeping busy with her children's activities.

Elissa Westbrook, DPT, ATC/L, Cert. DN, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Elissa Westbrook, who joined SRHC in 2021! Elissa received her undergraduate degree from Bethany College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training. She worked as an athletic trainer for Salina South for a year before she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Wichita State University in 2016. Elissa worked in Wichita, Kansas for 5 years in an outpatient aquatic PT setting. She is a certified ASTYM provider and certified in level 1 dry needling. Elissa enjoys working with pediatric patients from infants on up, general orthopedic and sports related injuries. She grew up on a farm outside of Gypsum and glad to be back home. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors/on the farm, spending time with her family, and keeping up with her four kids!

Miah Veach, DPT

Meet Miah Veach, who joined SRHC in 2024! Miah graduated from Kansas State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas in 2024. Miah is pelvic function 1 certified. She enjoys treating pelvic floor dysfunction, women’s health, and general orthopedic conditions. Outside of SRHC, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, dog Archie, traveling, and being outdoors.

Dan Sellers, DPT

Meet Daniel Sellers, who joined SRHC in 2022! Daniel received his Bachelors of Science in Community Health with a concentration in Physical Activity from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2010. He continued his education at the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Daniel has been heavily trained in manual therapy courses ranging from joint manipulation, massage, cupping, \& dry needling. He enjoys working with post-surgical rehabilitation, general orthopedic conditions, headache/migraine, TMJ, Pelvic floor dysfunction, and sports related injuries. When he is not working, he enjoys adventuring outdoors, swimming, fitness, and spending time with his family.

Thomas Meuli, DPT

Meet Thomas Meuli, who joined SRHC in 2023! Thomas graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Wichita State University in 2023. Thomas is a local to Abilene, Kansas and is happy to be back in the area close to friends and family. He really enjoys providing care for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and sports related injuries. Thomas loves spending time with his wife and miniature golden doodle, along with various outdoor activities mostly centered around hunting and fishing.

Brandon Magazine, DPT, Cert. DN, Cert. VCS

Meet Brandon Magazine, who joined SRHC in 2023! Brandon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in Exercise Science in 2020 and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2023. Brandon is certified in dry needing and a certified vestibular concussion specialist. Brandon enjoys treating post-surgical conditions, general orthopedic conditions, concussions, headaches, and sports related injuries. Brandon enjoys fitness, golf, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Morgan Salem, DPT

Meet Morgan Salem, who joined SRHC in 2023! Morgan received both her Bachelors of Art in Exercise Science in 2019 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023 from Wichita State University. Morgan enjoys working with general orthopedic, sport related injuries, and much more. She is passionate about helping others find their love for physical health and fitness while teaching them correct movements to ensure they maintain a more pain-free functional lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Kerry Schneweis, PTA, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Kerry Schneweis, who joined SRHC in 2007! Kerry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and an Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. She has worked as a PTA since 1997 in various settings including Acute Care, Skilled Care, Home Health, and Outpatient Physical Therapy. Kerry has been an ASTYM certified provider since 2008 and enjoys working with a wide variety of patients including general orthopedics, sports related injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. Kerry is a Salina native. She, her husband, and two children stay busy with sports, pets and family activities.

Rob Clouston, PTA, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Rob Clouston, who joined SRHC in 2017! Rob, a Western KS native, joined the US Army in 1986, where he was a combat medic. After his military discharge he attended KSU and FHSU. He then received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy from Colby Community College in 1995. He worked at SRHC in 1996-97 prior to moving to Manhattan KS where he worked for Mercy Regional Health Center and practiced in acute and outpatient aquatic therapy settings. Since returning to Salina in 2009, he has worked in Acute Care, Outpatient, Home Health, and Skilled Care Rehab settings. Rob is ASTYM certified (2019). He and his spouse Angela have five children, three grandchildren and bleed purple (EMAW!). Outside of work Rob enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, camping, hunting and fishing.

Amanda Hilzer, PTA, ATC/L

Meet Amanda Hilzer, who joined SRHC in 2018! Amanda received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Kinesiology from Kansas State University in 2015. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College in July of 2018 with an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. Amanda has taken courses in kinesiotaping, concussion, pediatrics, sports rehab and is eager to continue her knowledge base. She is originally from Hutchinson, KS but resides in McPherson, KS with her husband and stepson. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, hunting, fishing and traveling. She is currently in clinicals as she is transitioning from PTA to DPT from the College of Saint Mary. She will return to the clinic in December of 2026 and take her board certification in late January 2027 to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Gabbie Smith, PTA, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Gabbie Smith, who joined SRHC in 2020! Gabbie graduated from Colby Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. Gabbie is certified in ASTYM (2023) and is the aquatic therapist for SRHC. She is passionate about providing patients with the best care possible, and is eager to continue to grow in knowledge and experience. She is originally from Jewell, KS and now resides in Salina, KS. In her spare time she treats home health patients, enjoys working out, hanging with family/friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

Crystal Smelser, PTA

Meet Crystal Smelser, who re-joined SRHC in 2021! Crystal worked at SRHC after graduating from Washburn University in 2017 with her Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. Crystal then relocated to Nebraska where she gained experience in various settings including skilled care, home health, and outpatient physical therapy. Crystal enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations including general orthopedics, balance, and sports related injuries. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, helping her husband take care of their cattle, and spending time with their son.

Amanda Nuss, PTA, Cert. ASTYM

Meet Amanda Nuss, who joined the Outpatient PT Team in 2023! Amanda graduated from Colby Community College in 2012 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has experience working in a variety of rehabilitation settings, including Inpatient care at SRHC from 2014–2018 and PRN in 2022, Outpatient Therapy, Home Health, and Skilled Care rehabilitation. Amanda became ASTYM certified in 2023 and is also a Certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach. In addition, she has completed specialized coursework in concussion management. She enjoys treating a diverse range of patient populations, with clinical interests that include general orthopedics, sports-related injuries, balance disorders, concussions, and stroke rehabilitation. Amanda and her husband have two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on her children at their sporting events.
