Wound Care Clinic

It's Time To Heal

Being healthy and active are two of life's great pleasures. For people who have wounds that won't heal, life can lose its enjoyment because of pain, infection, and not being able to get around. But there's good news: Effective treatment can help heal wounds, and that's what the Wound Care Clinic at Salina Regional is all about.

The wound care specialist team includes surgeons, two podiatrists, a Nurse Practitioner and several skilled nurses who use the latest, most advanced treatments available to help wounds heal so that you can feel better and get back to enjoying life.

We Work With Your Doctor

There are many medical conditions, even ones that you may not be aware of, that can cause non-healing wounds. Following a referral from your primary care provider, our team will develop a wound treatment plan that is custom tailored for your specific needs. Treatment usually begins during your first appointment. We also work with other specialty services including vein procedures, radiology & nuclear medicine, and infection specialists as well as corrective orthotics.

Advanced Treatment Options

Our wound care specialists have many years of experience with many of the most advanced treatments available including skin grafting, wound vacs, and ultrasonic debridement. The clinic, which consists of six treatment rooms, is located on the second floor in the north building of Salina Regional's Santa Fe Campus at 400 South Santa Fe Ave.

Insurance Coverage

Many health plans cover wound care treatment and supplies. Coverage depends on your specific plan and any necessary referrals and/or authorizations or deductibles that your plan may specify. Be sure to bring your insurance card and any other necessary paperwork, such as prescription care, when you visit our clinic.

Have your primary care provider consult the Wound Care Clinic for an appointment and let the healing begin.

Making an appointment is the first step to getting better. Ask your doctor to refer you to our clinic. We are here to help you feel better more quickly.

Steps to Help You Start Healing Today
