Inpatient Physical Therapy
At Salina Regional Health Center we offer physical therapy to our patients in the hospital, as well as outpatient physical therapy at Salina Regional's Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic.
Physical therapists treat patients to control pain, increase strength, restore motion and regain function after an injury or illness. Arthritis, neck and back pain, shoulder dysfunctions, stroke and head injury are common diagnoses seen by our therapists. We also treat patients with diabetic ulcers and other wounds. Lower back problems are also commonly treated.
Our physical therapists have been trained in a variety of muscle and joint treatment techniques and can utilize different approaches depending upon a patient's condition.
Additionally, we have special testing equipment to assess balance and can set up treatment programs to improve balance and decrease the risk of falling.
